Tamsin & Dan’s Elegant June Wedding in the Heart of France
Tamsin and Dan’s wedding in June 2024 was one of those days that just felt right from the start.
They chose to have their ceremony at the Église Souterraine Saint-Jean, a truly unique underground monolithic church in France. It’s not every day you photograph a ceremony in a space carved entirely out of rock. The natural stone walls, soft candlelight, and the quiet, echoing atmosphere created something incredibly intimate and moving. You could feel the emotion hanging in the air as they exchanged vows.
Afterwards, everyone made their way to Manoir de Longeveau, a relaxed countryside estate not far from the ceremony site. The setting was pure charm—rolling hills, rustic buildings, and big open skies. Guests gathered in the gardens for drinks and canapés, while we snuck away with Tamsin and Dan for some portraits in the golden evening light (and yes, they absolutely nailed it).
Dinner was served outside under festoon lights strung between trees, and speeches flowed between courses with lots of laughter (and a few tears). As the sun went down, the party really kicked off—dancing, sparklers, and a whole lot of joy.
Tamsin and Dan were so easy to be around—kind, genuine, and totally wrapped up in each other. It was a real privilege to document their day.
Here’s a small glimpse into their story
